So sorry, but I no longer update this blog nor the one on MySpace. The only blog that is active now is my LiveJournal, which can be found here: ✿ c h é r i e ✿
The first is..... Drumroll please.
A sunset. Taken from our room's window.Well........ This photo is of dinner which I cooked all by myself and it turned out SUPER NICE lor!! I cooked peppercorn beef stewed in ginger and garlic and a second dish of white mushrooms simmered in a gravy of butter, pepper, onions, soy sauce and corn flour. *tries to do a modest look but gives up at the futility* It was FABULOUS!! If I don't say so myself. *takes a bow*
University jumpers which cost us a daylight-robbery-price of AUD$90 each. But it is the only thing that's thick enough to keep us snug and warm, plus! We can keep them for memories mah...
Desk.
My bed. Forgot to include my Pirates of the Carribean poster calender in the shot. It's above my bed.
My comfy slippers.
Erroneously took the bus from the opposite bus stop and ended up in some super jalan ulu pandan place. Sugars Rd or something. I actually saw cows and horses.
A sign that actually said: "Wrong way. Go back." Quite fitting; and today I saw a sign that said "LEFT LANE. MUST TURN LEFT." Almost fell off the pavement.
Finally. A chinese food place that is one of the cheaper places and doesn't kill our tastebuds; so we're regular customers.
One of the lunatic people around walking barefoot. I kid you not. It's quite common here, even as breaking empty beer bottles on the streets appears to be a common pasttime for the resident drunkards.
The gas heaters at many outdoor eateries which are turned on at night.
Unbelieveable. so super old....... should be at least from the 1960s or something. The WALK signal doesn't even work anymore. But their newer ones are almost exactly the same as the ones we have in Singapore. Except they don't have the red light above the button that turns on when we press it.The dining area at Emmanuel college (which was our first accomodation) that looks so much like the Hogwarts dining hall.
The two previous tenants of the house, Joey and Jackie surprised me with the cake. So sweet right! 20 years old now. I'm an ancient.
Cold...... very very veeeeery cold.......

Today's feast by Yours Truly- thick buttery beef gravy, vegetable melange, broth and all, which my housemates loved! YAY! Getting up early and cooking for 3 hours was worth it.
I'm not much of a computer person (I have an unfortunate tendency to crash them where ever I go... *winces*) and therefore have not set up any groups, mailing lists, archives, etc. Way much more of a prowler... forever just skulking around on the edges and every once in a blue moon putting in my two cents worth... be it wanted or not. =^)
I was a Tolkien canon purist... but... what the heck. I gave up ages ago trying to convince people that contrary to popular belief, Legolas was a brunette, not a blonde. LOL.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, aye?
So, the purist got shoved head-first down the privy, kicking and screaming, whilst my Legolas muse gloated and did a victory jig on the toilet seat.
Anyways, I went to see FOTR all snob-like, scoffing "Bah... what's the deal with this elf that has got the oestrogen brigade's panties in a twist?"
*sheepish smile* Yes, you may all laugh at me now.
The phenomenon of the Great Golden God of a Legolas hit me with the force of a drunk troll with a sledgehammer, o' course. It was a close encounter of the third kind: A wham, bam, thank yooou, mister!
So... a dangerously obsessive
here. Everybody head for cover. Mwahehehheheh....
Right-oh. A bio, ye be asking for?
Very well. Be forewarned though. *machiavellian grin* I'm notoriously verbose. Entirely not my fault, I tell you; 'tis the melodramatic Indian blood running through my veins. The same weakness. God, I'm so lame... Aye, I do go off tangent every other line too. *sigh* Where were we? Oh yes. Bio. Onwards:
